Abi Korol
Veterinary Care Assistant

Hello, I’m Abi.

I’m 28 and have always wanted to work with animals in some capacity.

When I was much younger I ran my own dog walking business. Which was quite the success for a 12 year old.
When I left high school at 18, I studied HNC and HND animal care at Angus college, graduating at the top of my class with awards for Student of the Year and The George Matheson Award. I later went back the following academic year and lectured NC animal care students. Proudly, they all passed.

I worked in the casino industry as a poker dealer for 3.5years, a restaurant and a coffee house before leaving to pursue my dream of working with animals.

I started working for PDSA as a Veterinary Care Assistant back in 2017, leaving in late 2018 to join the Team at Wallace Vets. I’m so excited to go through my Nurse training.

At home, I have a gerbil called Francis, sadly recently losing his brothers Maurice and Hama to illness. I also have 3 cats. Toulouse my wee older man, Eevee my sassy lady and Éowyn the mischief maker, whom are both rescues.
