Niall Morton
Veterinary Surgeon / Director

I’m Niall and I like to think of myself as a local lad done good.

I grew up in Broughty Ferry and moved back to the area in 2010 after honing my veterinary skills at the Glasgow University Vet School followed by a 4 year spell in suburban Englandshire. Nothing beats coming home and when offered a job at Wallace vets I jumped at the chance.

I became the sole director at Wallace Vets in 2013 and I was always keen to solidify Jim’s founding vision of offering excellent patient and client service at an affordable price. Still being a young (ish) man I am very much looking to the future and am alway keen to see whats on the horizon for the veterinary world. My dream is that every pet that walks through the Wallace Vets doorway is treated as if they were my own.

I am keen on all areas of small animal practice and I gain as much happiness from knowing that I’ve fixed a broken leg as i do from rolling around on the consultation floors examining (playing) with puppies, kittens and other little fluffy ones.

My friends and family will tell you that veterinary work is my life and they are not wrong. Its been a life long passion that keeps me going every moment of every day. Without my pets and without yours I’ve no idea what I would do. I really can’t imagine working in any other job.

When relaxing at home I am often found pampering Maggie and Rufus, my dog and cat.
