Our Broughty Ferry practice opened it’s doors on 1st February 2016.
In 2014 we recognised that there was a real need to find bigger premises to help with the demand on our Carnoustie practice.
It was quickly clear that Carnoustie was unable to offer us an alternative larger building which offer car parking spaces, so we began to look for a second location to run alongside our current building.
We started looked into where our active clients were travelling from. Our clinical record database showed us that a third of our active clients lived in Broughty Ferry and beyond. As far as Dundee, Perth, Blairgowrie, St Andrews and even as far as Glasgow!
After months of viewings across the eastern outskirts of Dundee, in areas such as Arbroath Road, Kingsway East and Claypotts, we final found our perfect location on Queen Street, Broughty Ferry.
Building work began on the site on Monday 14th October 2015 and finished on Friday 29th January 2016.
One day later, on Saturday 30th, we held an Open Day, allowing our clients or past, present and future to view our facilities in their entirety.
On Monday 1st February we officially opened our doors as a fully operational veterinary surgery.
The people of Broughty Ferry and beyond were extremely kind to us. Almost entirely based on reputation and recommendation, our new practice quickly becoming busier and busier as time went on.
So much so, that less than 18 months after opening in Broughty Ferry we began looking towards Arbroath as an area of interest, again, based on where our clients were traveling from and where we felt there was a need for our services.

In January 2022 we moved from our traditional out-of-hours call-out model to complete around the clock care!
As well as our team working during the day for routine appointments and surgery, we now have a dedicated night team working through the night in Broughty Ferry for emergencies.
