We’re teaming up with our friends in veterinary practices across Dundee and Angus to celebrate 30 years of Vetlife.

Vetlife offers emotional support to everyone in the veterinary community who are experiencing mental health difficulties via an independent and confidential helpline.

Our teams are made up of the most amazing GP’s, surgeons, anaesthetists, radiologists, nurses, carers, helpers and advisors. We’re often heroes in a crisis, as well as a shoulder to cry on and a listening ear.

But despite all the amazing things that we do, we’re all human, and work-related pressures and the way our teams are sometimes spoken to, or about, contribute to our profession being four times more likely to end our own life; twice as likely as doctors and dentists.

Vetlife are an invaluable support to our industry, but each and every one of us can play a part in supporting our profession to keep caring for your pets by offering the simplest of things, your kindness.

Throughout August, members of our team will be fundraising for Vetlife by undertaking a ‘Pawsitive Steps’ challenge, walking an average of 10k steps a day over the month of August (1st-31st).
