Amanda
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Broughty Ferry Team Leader & Clinical Coach

I’m Amanda and I am a registered veterinary nurse after studying for 4 years to gain a 1st class Honours Degree in Veterinary Nursing at Edinburgh Napier University in June 2017.

I first started at Wallace Vets in my early high school career (2008), volunteering to gain experience which I continued into placement of my first year at university. I then worked in a Veterinary hospital in Aberdeen where I was able to gain valuable experience which I can apply to my nursing skills such as emergency and critical care.

As of January 2016 I have been officially employed to work with Wallace Vets which I am very happy about as it means I can work in my local community where I can get to know local clients and pets!

I have a particular interest in anaesthesia, nursing clinics, in-patient care and I am also very keen on small furries.

I have lots of pets including; My two Dogs, Moscow (Alaskan malamute) and Pippin (Shetland Sheepdog), two Rabbits, two Hamsters, several Geckos and five Guinea-Pigs!
